Kampong Cham (FN), Oct. 25 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet reacted to the opposition groups abroad, who criticized the Royal Government for not taking into account the people living and working in Israel.

The premier spoke on Wednesday (Oct. 25) during his meeting with more than 12,000 workers in Kampong Cham province.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stated that the Cambodian Government for the past 44 years has considered the interests and lives of the people by liberating the people from the genocidal regime, ending the war through win-win policy and saving the lives of the people from the COVID19 disease.

“For more than 44 years, the lives and safety of the people has always been the top priority of the Royal Government,” Samdech Thipadei underlined.

At the same time, Samdech Thipdei asked the opposition group whether they really cared and did something for the benefit of the people or just released a video clip on Facebook for a political gain and then disappeared.

The premier also questioned whether a veteran politician who recently bragged about raising money to buy plane tickets for Cambodian students in Israel to return to Cambodia is actually fundraising as it has already been 10 days.

It should be noted that the Royal Government's working group, which includes the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and other competent institutions, regularly communicate with students and farm owners where they live, as well as the Israeli authorities to ensure the safety of Cambodian students and intervene to solve their problems immediately if needed.
