Kampong Chhang (FN), Jun. 9 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen further urged factory workers and employers to maintain peace, harmony and safety in the workplace, speaking on Friday morning (June 9) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Kampong Chhnang province.

The premier also urged them to participate in the safe village-commune policy in order to promote the development of sustainable employment and income growth.

"I would like to urge everyone [factory workers] to maintain peace with the employers. Do not use drugs, form gangsters or commit corruption. These are parts of the safe village-commune policy," the premier underscored.

Samdech also advised workers to work hard and instructed the employers to pay high attention to the workers' livelihood to maintain harmony, sustainable employment, and income growth in the workplace.
