Kampong Chhang (FN), Jun. 9 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen asked all Borey owners to help facilitate the finances or extend the payment period for the buyers and avoid seizure of properties due to inability to pay.

The premier spoke on Friday morning (June 9) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Kampong Chnang province.

The premier's statement came after various seizure of the houses has been seen when the buyers were unable to pay.

During the COVID19 outbreak, the National Bank of Cambodia and microfinance reorganized loan repayment periods. For instance, a five-year loan repayment period could be reduced or extended to seven or eight years, or they can pawn the properties to expand business capital.
