Kampong Chnang (FN), Jun. 8 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen encouraged workers to dare to point a finger at the opposition who asks foreigners to impose sanctions on Cambodia, including boycotting the kingdom’s goods and ceasing investment.

The premier spoke on Thursday morning (June 8) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Kampong Chnang province.

These ill-intended people are destroying the lives of workers in order to serve their wicked political interests, the premier added.

According to premier Hun Sen, if the Royal Government of Cambodia does not maintain relationship with other countries, workers may lose their jobs. During the COVID19 outbreak, the government has put efforts in protecting workers from the disease by timely implementing preventive measures and offering free vaccination, as well as preventing factories from shutdown.

On the occasion, Samdech also praised foreign politicians for prioritising national interests despite different political views.
