Kampong Chhnang (FN), Jun. 8 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen continued to call on all people to go to vote on 23 July 2023 to fulfill their obligations as citizens in exercising their rights to choose their favorite political party.

The premier spoke on Thursday morning (June 8) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Kampong Chnang province.

“We have 18 political parties to compete in the general election, so please go to the polls to promote regular practice of democracy in Cambodia,” the premier added.

On that occasion, premier Hun Sen also explained that the National Assembly shall not be dissolved before the end of its term except when the Royal government is twice deposed within a period of twelve months.
