Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen further encouraged citizens to resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolutions in order to save time and money.

The premier spoke on Tuesday morning (June 6) at an inauguration of new buildings of the Royal Academy for Justice of Cambodia in Phnom Penh.

"I would like to reiterate and encourage the settlement of disputes at the local level through alternative dispute resolutions, with the participation of our judiciary, non-profit lawyers, and local relevant authorities at all levels to avoid unforeseeable challenges," the premier underscored.

On that occasion, premier Hun Sen emphasized that there is only win and lose in court, therefore he urged out-of-court dispute resolution mechanism.
