Kampong Speu (FN), Jun. 4 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen revealed that large number of entourages of former deputy director of Radio Free Asia Khmer Chun Chanboth left Chanboth and that the rest were the premier’s people.

The premier spoke on Sunday morning (June 4) during a meeting with more than 16,000 workers in Kampong Speu province.

On that occasion, Samdech also revealed a request from the president of Radio Free Asia to resume its operation in Cambodia. In this case, the premier said that in order to do so, RFA must remove some people, including Chun Chanboth.

In 2017, Radio Free Asia officially terminated operations in Cambodia that has run for nearly 20 years.
