Phnom Penh (FN), May 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said it is unbelievable to see some ill-intended people urging foreigners to impose sanctions on Cambodia in order to serve their wicked political interests without thinking of the whole nation's interests.

The premier spoke on Saturday morning (May 27) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in the Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone.

"It is unbelievable to see some ill-intended people in Cambodia urging foreigners to impose sanctions on Cambodia, including boycotting the kingdom’s goods and ceasing investment. In other countries, although politicians have different opinions, they never kill their own people," the premier underscored.

Fortunately, investors in Cambodia continue their investments and those who purchase goods from Cambodia continue to do so, while the Royal Government continues to strive to uphold the interests of the nation and the people as a whole.
