Phnom Penh (FN), May 26 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen told workers that the increased social protection stipends for pregnant women and their children until age of two will be effective in August and each person will receive about USD 380 (1.52 million Riels).

The premier spoke on Friday morning (May 26) during his meeting with some 20,000 workers at the Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone.

"Perhaps, there are not many countries implementing this policy. I would like to clarify that this policy will start in August," the premier continued.
