Phnom Penh (FN), May 18 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that Cambodia is a country where foreign countries send their people to study, explore and learn about successful experiences not only in the health sector, but also in other sectors.

The premier spoke at a graduation of more than 1,000 medical students, held on Thursday morning (May 18) at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.

"Generally, our country is one of the countries that foreigners, through NGOs and financial institutions, come to study not only in the field of health, but also in other fields [...] We are happy that they learn about our success," the premier underscored.

Meanwhile, Samdech is proud of the progress in Cambodia's health sector as it was very challenging in the past.

On that occasion, Samdech praised the Ministry of Health, the University of Health, and all the professors who overcame the difficulties in building human resources in the health sector and that the Royal Government has been prioritizing the recruitment in health and education sectors.
