Phnom Penh (FN), May 15 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen thanked the Chinese government and the people for granting a beautiful and strong Morodok Techo National Stadium for Cambodia to host the SEA Games.

The premier spoke at a graduation of over 3,000 agricultural students, held on Monday (May 15) at Diamond Island

"I would like to express my gratitude to the Chinese people, especially to Chinese president Xi Jinping, for granting a beautiful and strong stadium [Morodok Techo National Stadium] for Cambodia to host the SEA Games," the premier underscored.

At the same time, Samdech also expressed gratitude to Cambodian late king father Norodom Sihanouk, who left his legacy for the next generation after 64 years, and to queen mother for sending an appreciation letter to the Royal Government.

Lastly, Samdech thanked the ASEAN member countries for sending athletes to participate in the SEA Games in Cambodia and supporting Cambodia as the host.
