Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen stated that waiving fees for spectators, sporting delegation and media partners attending the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games showcased Cambodia's “a small country with big heart”.

The premier spoke at the opening of new training courses in 2023 of the Royal School of Administration, held on Thursday (Apr 27) at Diamond Island.

“We have spent a total of USD 118 million on the games, excluding the additional USD 7 million to feed foreign athletes,” said the premier, adding that foreign friends would get the chance to witness the true heart of Cambodia.

On that occasion, Samdech also called on Cambodian people to behave with dignity when hosting such momentous events.

The 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia will take place from 5-17 May 2023. The 12th ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia will begin from 3-9 June 2023.
