Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 25 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen warned foreigners not to make a third mistake in Cambodia, speaking on Tuesday morning (Apr 25) at a graduation ceremony at National Institute of Education.

"I always remind some foreigners, who like to advise Cambodia, not to commit the third mistake," the premier underscored.

Samdech pointed out that their first mistake was supporting the coup d'etat to overthrow Cambodia's late king father Norodom Sihanouk in 1970. This coup led to Pol Pot regime that killed millions of innocent civilians and destroyed Cambodia to zero. The second mistake was supporting the Khmer Rouge at the United Nations for more than 12 years (1979-1991).

"After committing these mistakes, they did not apologize to Cambodian citizens, but only offered condolences. This action still hurt the Cambodian citizens," the premier added.
