Phnom Penh (FN), April 21 – Fresh News founder and CEO Lim Chea Vutha held a working dinner with visiting ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) delegation headed by secretary general Mr. Shi Zhongjun.

The working dinner was held in a friendly atmosphere at a Chinese restaurant in the capital Phnom Penh.

CEO Vutha and secretary general Shi discussed cooperation opportunities covering the areas of media, technology, and people-to-people ties.

ACC secretary general Shi informed the CEO that “Cambodia is a lively and civilized country, developing faster beyond his expectation.”

For his part, the CEO thanks the secretary general’s high commendation on Cambodia's peace and development.

CEO Vutha expressed gratitude to China’s aids, particularly the Chinese vaccine.

“The Chinese vaccines allowed Cambodia to gain immunity herds and as a result the kingdom can reopen all socio-economic activities and recover her economy in a faster pace compared to other countries across the globe,” Vutha underscored.

The CEO also raised other areas of Cambodia-China cooperation including China's imports of Cambodian products, Chinese investment in Cambodia, and Chinese tourists visiting Cambodia.

The CEO and the secretary general pledged to further promote Cambodia-China-ASEAN relations that will make ASEAN and China continue to be a peaceful and prosperous region.
