Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 8 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen called on Buddhist priests to educate the people and youth residing in the respective villages to avoid evil deeds such as gambling, drug use, and to promote traffic laws.

The premier spoke during a meeting with Buddhist priests on Saturday morning (Apr 8) at Diamond Island.

Maintaining peace and political stability is an important task for everyone, the premier added.

Samdech continued, drug is the current serious problem, which can lead to robbery and other crimes.

On that occasion, premier Hun Sen underscored that Buddhist priests must continue to educate the people about good deeds, good morals and good virtues, so that they can participate in maintaining security and social order.
