Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 3 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen gave five recommendations to promote the efficiency of hosting the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games.

The premier spoke at a dinner with more than 4,000 Cambodian athletes at Diamond Island Exhibition and Convention Center on Monday evening (Apr 3).

The five recommendations are as follows:

1. Strengthen solidarity, internal unity, and working harmony among National Organizing Committee of the Games and the relevant parties, particularly to agree on the principles of effective leadership and implementation.

2. The capital-provincial administration must strengthen the quality of public services, security, order, beauty, hygiene, and the environment from now on.

3. Relevant ministries and institutions shall cooperate and accept all necessary requests of the National Organizing Committee of the Games to ensure complete success in the event.

4. Urging National Sports Federation leaders, coaches, and supporters to encourage and support the athletes in the final stages of the competition to boost motivation and high confidence.

5. Encourage Phnom Penh residents to use public buses and carpooling in order to reduce traffic congestion and efficiently facilitate the transport of sports delegates and international guests during the event.
