Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen told former vice president of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla, also president of the Central Asia-Pacific Democrats International (CAPDI), that religious harmony prevails in Cambodia.

Jusuf Kalla paid a courtesy call on the premier on Tuesday morning at the Peace Palace.

According to the premier’s personal secretary Eang Sophalleth, during the meeting, Jusuf expressed his respect for premier Hun Sen’s wise leadership that brought Cambodia peace and religious harmony. He also noted good harmony and unity in the kingdom’s religion sector.

On that occasion, Samdech thanked Jusuf and his delegation to Cambodia. The premier also informed Jusuf that Cambodia organizes the Ramadan iftar dinner annually and all religions in Cambodia are practiced in harmony, including Islam, Christianity and Buddhism.
