Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen warned foreigners not to make a third mistake in Cambodia.

The premier spoke at a graduation of nearly 2,000 students of Institute of New Khmer, held on Monday (Mar 6) at the OCIC, Phnom Penh.

"Cambodia was a tragic territory that you [foreigner] inflicted wars and destructions," the premier said. "hopefully, you will not again provoke the color revolution to destroy peace in our country and re-create war.”

"Any country that supported Lon Nol's coup to overthrow Norodom Sihanouk in 1970 contributed to making wars in Cambodia. Claiming oneself to be a father of a democracy, yet supporting a military coup is ridiculous,” the premier added.

Samdech asked those countries that supported Lon Nol's military coup to reflect themselves before talking about democracy. Samdech also exposed their second mistake which was supporting Khmer Rouge seat at the United Nations for more than 12 years.

Samdech reaffirmed his commitment not to let anyone destroy Cambodia's peace.
