Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 24 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen reminds officials that refusing to learn information technology skills will hinder works.

The premier spoke at the graduation of more than 7,000 students of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, held on Friday (Feb. 24) at Diamond Island Exhibition and Convention Center.

"Well, we do not need to carry all the paperwork with us, just use the phone and iPad. I did not read from the paper when addressing the United Nations. I only brought my iPad. That is why we must promote digital literacy,” the premier added.

At the same time, Samdech added that this technology era requires us to evaluate and study the current world situation. There is no end to learning. Lifelong learning is not only for children, youth, and students, but also for senior officials.

On that occasion, Samdech also urged the study of computer literacy, information technology, especially knowledge and skills use smartphones and social media.
