Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 16 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen received a courtesy call by chief of staff of Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force general Yoshida Yoshihide, on Thursday morning (Feb. 16) at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh.

During his visit on 15 February, general Yoshida Yoshihide also met with commander-in-chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces general Vong Pisen, and Cambodian army commander lieutenant general Hun Manet.

The visit of general Yoshida Yoshihide aims to strengthen Cambodia-Japan military relations and cooperation.
