Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 26 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen requested to end the dispute between a journalist and a man who helped lift motorbikes in a recent traffic accident on Chroy Changvar Bridge.

The premier spoke at the graduation ceremony of more than 3,000 students of the Western University, held on Thursday morning (Jan 26) at OCIC, Phnom Penh.

Samdech said that the journalist's reaction towards the man was completely unreasonable.

At the same time, the premier wondered how the journalist asked the man to apologize and even said it is not a sincere apology. Samdech added that if the man apologized, he should apologize to the police, not to the journalist.

The premier instructed the Ministry of Information to invite online news journalists to educate and guide on professional ethics and urged that such incidents will not happen again.
