Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 31 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen called on families, who have conflicted due to Khem Veasna’s non-scientific action, to tolerate and reconcile with each other.

The premier spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony of two new flyovers on Wednesday (Aug 31) in Phnom Penh.

“There was a conflict happened in the family due to contradictory belief. Therefore, I would like to request all families to reconcile with each other. I also would like to call on citizens who are neighbors of these victims not to discriminate once they return home,” the premier underlined.

Samdech continued, “I also ordered the Siem Reap provincial governor to offer free food and transportation to victims by using the Military Region 4 and Military Division 2 vehicles.”

On 31 August 2022, the authorities decided to put Khem Veasna’s land on lockdown, so the people are no longer allowed to enter, but to leave.
