Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that the executive system is different from the parliamentary system, speaking in a meeting with Cambodian ASEAN Para Games athletes at the Peace Palace on Wednesday (Jul 6).

“Hun Sen is the one who makes final decision. If you have no experience as a prime minister, do not share your idea. Otherwise, other people consider you as an idiot or stupid,” the premier underlined.

The premier responded to critics who say "everything is decided by Hun Sen".

Samdech Hun Sen briefed the differences between the executive system and parliamentary system.

"In the parliamentary system, every decision needs approval from the National Assembly and the Senate. For instance, in Cambodia, it requires 50+1 vote in favor to form the government and adopt the laws and 2/3 vote to amend the constitution. However, in the executive system, every decision-making solely depends on the prime minister.
