Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, chairman of the National Paralympic Committee of Cambodia (NPCC), expressed his gratitude to Indonesia for hosting the ASEAN Para Games

The premier spoke in a meeting with Cambodian ASEAN Para Games athletes at the Peace Palace on Wednesday (Jul 6).

"We should thank Indonesia for hosting this Para Games for our disabled people. If we miss this year, we will miss two consecutive games, one in the Philippines and another in Vietnam,” the premier added.

On that occasion, Samdech also urged Cambodian athletes to obey game rules and regulations and advised not to bring shame back to the kingdom.

Cambodia sent a total of 166 delegates to join the 11th ASEAN Para Games, according to secretary general of the NPCC Yi Veasna.
