Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 13 – According to Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, Cambodia has about 11 million doses of COVID19 vaccine in stock, while over 20 million doses to be delivered soon, speaking at the graduation ceremony on Monday (Jun 13).

“In 2022-2023, we use the remaining vaccines and now we have over 11 million doses in stock. An additional 20 million doses of COVID19 vaccine will continue to arrive as our friends promised to donate to the kingdom, including 15 million from China, 5.5 million from the United States, and 500,000 from Australia. We will continue to secure COVID19 vaccine as we could not foresee when the pandemic will end,” the premier underlined.

"No matter how many doses be taken, the government pledged to vaccinate her people for free of charge,” the premier continued.

Cambodia has so far vaccinated over 94 percent of the total population. More than 9 million people have received third dose, over 2.6 million received the fourth shot, and over 100,000 received the fifth shots.
