Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 8 - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) issued an official letter of apology to Cambodia for not taking good care of Cambodian men’s national football team in terms of food, accommodation and the Cambodian flag.

"It is regretful that the Cambodia flag produced for the Competition does not meet the exact specification in terms of design and color code. Therefore, kindly be informed that the AFC will be using the graphic of the national flags on the giant screen for the upcoming matches in the Competition, as has been the practice for the last two (2) years in the AFC competitions,” according to the AFC’s apology letter seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Jun 8).

The apology came after president of the Football Federation of Cambodia Sao Sokha warned to cancel a football match with India as the host in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup qualifiers.
