Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 6 – The National Election Committee (NEC) announced that 80.19 per cent of Cambodian registered voters casted a vote in the 5th mandate communal election, according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Monday (Jun 6).

More than 7.3 million people came to vote among the 9.2 million registered voters, an equivalent to 80.19 per cent.

The election was observed by 72 local institutions, organizations and 19 international communities, along with delegations from the embassies of Japan, Australia and Russia in Cambodia.
