Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 28 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen reaffirmed that he will stay in power for 10 years more, even though fortune-tellers have predicted he will be living to 101 years old.

The premier spoke in a meeting with Cambodian athletes on Thursday (28 Apr) at Koh Pich Theater, Phnom Penh.

"Fortune tellers say I will live to 101 years old. Of course, I will not be in power at that age, but probably for another 10 years max," the premier underlined.

Premier Hun Sen has reiterated that he remains the candidate for the prime minister position in the 2023 election.

On 24 December 2021, Hun Manet, the eldest son of Hun Sen and is the Cambodian army commander, was elected as candidate of future Cambodia's prime minister.
