Finland, 27 April (RT)- Finland decides not to pay for Russian gas in rubles – local media citing minister.

Ruble payments are about the Russian president Vladimir Putin on the requirement that gas customers should set up their own accounts with Gazprombank, to which payments would be made in euros or dollars and then converted into another account in rubles.

The payment would only be valid after conversion into rubles. In this way, Russia could circumvent sanctions and fatten its coffers.

On Wednesday, Russia cut off gas taps to Poland and Bulgaria in retaliation for not agreeing to Russian ruble payments.
