Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 2 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that the Russia-Ukraine war has now become the war between Russian and Europe as some NATO members have sent both weapons and troops to assist Ukraine in battling against Russia.

The premier spoke in an inauguration ceremony for the official use of National Road No. 3 in Takeo province on Wednesday.

“Currently, European countries have been sending weapons and troops to assist Ukraine. If so, the war between Russia and Ukraine is no longer a Russia-Ukraine war, it is instead a Russia-Europe war,” said the premier.

Samdech continued, "for Cambodia’s perspective, we strongly oppose the use of forces to end conflict,” adding that “war is not a mean to end war.”

From his own perspective, premier Hun Sen believes that the war in Ukraine will prolong if Russia does not withdraw its troops and that will death toll will increase from day to day.
