Kratie (FN), Feb. 16 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said his appeals for foreign aids in the field of development assistances has served the interests of Cambodian people and nation, not his personal residence.

Premier Hun Sen reacted to a criticism made by ill-intended group saying that the government led by Hun Sen is good at asking for grant aids from foreign countries.

“I asked for foreign aids to build bridges, roads, canals, schools, hospitals and other projects to serve for the best interests of my people and country,” the premier spoke at the inauguration for the official use of the seven bridges in Kratie and Prey Veng provinces on Wednesday.

Premier Hun Sen expressed gratitude to all Cambodia’s development partners.

“The kingdom’s development can not be separate from foreign aids. Cambodia always welcomes development assistances from all countries without discrimination.”
