Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 11 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen asked president of South Korea Moon Jae-in to increase quota, which enables more Cambodian workers to register to work in South Korea.

The premier’s request was made during the working meeting with South Korean president Moon Jae-in in Seoul, South Korea.

Samdech also thanked the Government of the Republic of Korea for vaccinating Cambodian migrant workers against COVID19, according to delegate minister Kao Kim Hourn.

According to a report of Cambodian Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, approximately 45,000 Cambodian migrant workers are currently working in the Republic of Korea.
