Kratie (FN), Feb. 7 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that two modern hospitals worth nearly USD 80 million, funded by China, will be officially inaugurated in March 2022.

The two hospitals are the 11-storey Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital in Phnom Penh and the Cambodia-China Friendship Tbong Khmum Hospital in Tbong Khmum province.

The premier spoke in an inauguration ceremony for the official use of China-aided National Road No. 7 rehabilitation project in Kratie province on Monday.

The Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital is set to inaugurate on 7 March, while the Cambodia-China Friendship Tbong Khmum Hospital on 28 March, according to the premier.

“COVID19 cannot hinder our development. We will overcome the obstacles together for further development,” Samdech underlined.

Cambodia has made huge and rapid progress on infrastructure developments, including roads, bridges, healthcare centers and schools under the roof of peace.
