Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 25 – Cambodia earned more than USD611 million from exported rubber and rubber wood, according to the official report of the General Department of Rubber, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries released on Thursday.

In 2021, Cambodia exported 366,300 tons of rubber, an increase of 8 percent compared to 2020. The export of rubber wood reached 454 cubic meters.

The report added that the average price of rubber in 2021 was USD1,666 per ton, an increase of 21 percent compared to last year.

In 2020, Cambodia exported more than 350,000 tons of rubber to China, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia, earning more than USD482 million.
