Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 25 – The Commission on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, Information and Media at the National Assembly of Cambodia, on 24 January 2022, wished to vehemently rule out the baseless and blind accusation of the so-called the ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR) over the visit of Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen to Myanmar, on 7-8 January 2022.

“Charles Santiago, the current chair of APHP and member of parliament from an opposition party in Malaysia, has often seen to have associated himself with a handful of extremist political activists, war-monger politicians or the outlaws. His provocation of criticisms and sentiments against the legitimate government and the peace mission of Samdech Techo Hun Sen is utterly anti-peace and uncivilized because of his being brainwashed or his intellectual deficiency to even comprehend the common sense,” according to a rebuttal statement seen by Fresh News on Tuesday.
