Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 18 – Chum Sounry, former Cambodian ambassador to the United States, has been appointed as secretary of state and spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, replacing Koy Kuong.

A senior official of the ministry told Fresh News on Tuesday.

Keo Chhea has been appointed Cambodian ambassador to the United States and Mexico, replacing Chum Sounry. Koy Kuong will be in charge of Central and South Asia affairs, according to the source.
