Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 14 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen met with Singaporean prime minister Lee Hsien Loong on Friday via videoconference.

The two leaders exchanged views on COVID19 situation.

Cambodian premier also briefed the Singapore counterpart on the outcomes of his recent visit to Myanmar.

As a rotating chair of ASEAN 2022, premier Hun Sen said his recent visit adheres to ASEAN Charter and the 5-point consensus in order to contribute to ending violence and providing humanitarian aids to the people of Myanmar without discrimination.

Lee Hsien Loong supported Cambodia's efforts, especially as the rotating chair of ASEAN, including the mission of the ASEAN chair’s special envoy.

The Singaporean premier agreed with Samdech Hun Sen that the next task is to let ASEAN foreign ministers work on the political crisis in Myanmar.
