Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 3 – Phnom Penh Municipal Court investigating judge Im Vannak ordered to detain six protestors in front of Naga World, allegedly charged with incitement to cause serious social unrest in accordance with article 494 and 495 of the penal code, according to the separate orders seen by Fresh News on Monday.

The six people include Ry Sovandy, Touch Serey Meas, Khlaing Soben, Hay Sopheap, Chhim Sokhon, and Son Sreypech.

Prior to the arrests, Phnom Penh City Hall had repeatedly urged the protesters to stop the illegal protest in order to maintain security, public order and social security.
