Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 6 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen claimed that his three sons, Hun Manet, Hun Manith, and Hun Many, are the main strategic advisors among his 10 close scholars.

The premier spoke at the inauguration ceremony of National Road No. 11 and other roads in Prey Veng on Monday.

“I have 10 scholars around me, but all my three sons are the closest. We always exchanged views and analyze things together,” the premier said.

Hun Manet is currently a deputy commander-in-chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, army commander and chairman of the Central Youth Committee of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP). Hun Manith is a brigadier general in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, and Hun Many is CPP’s lawmaker, representing Kampong Speu constituency.

Cambodian premier Hun Sen recently announced to fully support Hun Manet to be the next generation Cambodian prime minister. Following this announcement, representatives of ministries, institutions, units, high-ranking government officials, as well as the working group of the CPP, associations and the private sector submit petitions to support the premier’s announcement.

The landslide petitions showed the people’s respect and support for Manet’s capabilities and leadership.
