Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 1 – Cambodian and Indonesian governments planned to resume direct flights after COVID19 situation eased.

Indonesian foreign minister Retno L.P. Marsudi met in person with Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen on Wednesday at the Peace Palace.

Delegate minister Kao Kim Hourn said both leaders discussed possibility to resume the direct flight between the two countries as Indonesia witnessed Cambodia’s high vaccination rate.

On 30 November 2021, Cambodia announced full reopening of the country, including the operations of high-risk businesses, including karaoke, bar and discotheque.
