Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 15 – Cambodia will receive 2 million doses of COVID19 vaccine, donated by the Chinese government and people.

The package will arrive the kingdom on 17 November 2021.

Cambodia prime minister Hun Sen will preside over the handover ceremony of the vaccine at the Phnom Penh International Airport, the government senior official told Fresh News on Monday.

Cambodia has received about 30 million doses of COVID19 vaccines to inoculate her people, of which China is the main supplier through donations and commercial procurement.

As of 14 November, Cambodia has inoculated more than 100 percent of its target 10 million adults, and more than 98 percent for children aged 12 to under 18 years old.
