Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 22 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen requested minister of tourism to work with Thai counterpart to enforce quarantine-free for citizens of both countries.

The premier’s request came after Thailand allows fully vaccinated citizens of 45 countries, including Cambodia, to visit Thailand without quarantine requirements from November 1 if they enter the country by air and test negative for the coronavirus.

"We can set up a new travel arrangement with Thailand by offering quarantine-free measures for Cambodian and Thai people visiting both countries," the premier underlined.

Cambodia plans to reopen the country by the end of 2021 after the number of COVID19 cases in the country decreased and more than 85% of the total population has been vaccinated.
