Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 20 – Dr. Yun Young-ho, director genera of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), praised Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen for his leadership and peace building in Cambodia.

Dr. Yun Young-ho spoke at the courtesy call on the premier to discuss the preparation for the World Summit on Peace in the Korean Peninsula in early 2022.

Yun highlighted the premier’s achievements and efforts to end the war and build peace for Cambodia and said that the premier is a leader with a peaceful heart in the eyes of people around the world.

Yun also praised and congratulated Cambodia’s effective COVID19 control and successful vaccination campaign, and considered it a model for the world, not just for South Korea.

Premier Hun Sen thanked Yun Young-ho for his commendation. He also provided recommendations for the successful organization of World Summit on Peace in the Korean Peninsula and provided a number of initiatives to UPF in the Indo-Pacific and Mekong frameworks.
