Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 19 – Cambodian foreign affairs minister Prak Sokhonn, on Monday, sent a letter of condolence to federal minister for foreign affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Heiko Maas on the devastative flooding that hit Western Germany on 15 July 2021.

“I am deeply grieved by the news about the massive flooding that hit western Germany, on 15 July, which has claimed the lives of more than one hundred people and wounded many others while thousands are still missing. While standing in solidarity with the friendly German people in this difficult time, I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the bereaved families for the loss of their loved ones, and my best wishes for a speedy recovery and resilience to those who have been injured and a timely rescue of those missing.”
