Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 17 – The Cambodian Red Cross, chaired by Bun Rany Hun Sen, has announced a $100,000 donation to Viet Nam Red Cross, through the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia, to assist in fighting COVID19.

Ms. Men Neary Sopheak, first deputy secretary general of the Cambodian Red Cross told Fresh News on Saturday, 17 July.

Cambodian government today also announced to donate 1 million face masks, 100,000 N95 masks, 100 oxygen concentrators, and USD 200,000 to assist Viet Nam in combating COVID19.

Ho Chi Minh City and nearby regions are under tension, and the number of new cases is expected to further increase.

Viet Nam has recorded over 2,000 cases daily over the last five days. As of 17 July, at least 44,186 were tested positive and 225 people died.
