Phnom Penh (FN), May 22 – President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia Anthony Galliano, on Friday, presented a plaque to Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health Or Vandine for her commitment and dedication in the fight against COVID19 and for the expeditious response in vaccinating the citizens.

“Thank you for coordinating to protect us all,” Anthony Galliano stated.

On that occasion, Senior Minister H.E Ly Thuch coordinated for nine foreign investors and donors, facilitated by H.E Salah Essa, to hand over the equipment worth of USD 50,000 to the Ministry of Health on Friday through Committee for COVID19 Vaccination led by Health Minister Mam Bunheng

The donations include personal protective equipment (PPE), blood pressure monitors, thermal scanners, computers, gloves, socks, safety goggles, helmets, face masks, gels and other necessary equipment.

The nine private sectors and donors are listed below:

9. Mr. Andrew Tey

Senior Minister Thuch commended and thanked the generous gestures of foreign investors who have joined the government in combating COVID19. He also thanked the foreign companies for their investment in Cambodia, creating jobs and contributing to the Kingdom's economic growth under the roof of peace and political stability, led by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.

On 13 April 2021, Senior Minister Ly Thuch coordinated for 14 foreign investors and donors to hand over the equipment worth of USD 300,000 to the Ministry of Health.
