Phnom Penh (FN), May 1 – Three Cambodian patients living in Phnom Penh died of COVID19 on 30 April 2021, according to the Ministry of Health's announcement dated Saturday.

A 61-year-old Cambodian man was tested positive on 24 April 2021. He had diabetes and passed away at 03:05 on 30 April 2021.

A 67-year-old Cambodian woman was tested positive on 29 April 2021. She had diabetes and passed away at 03:10 on 30 April 2021.

A 76-year-old Cambodian woman was tested positive on 28 April 2021. She had diabetes and passed away at 03:15 on 30 April 2021.

The patients passed away due to severe lung disease and respiratory crisis attacked by COVID19, the ministry confirmed.

To date, Cambodia has registered 96 cases of COVID19 fatality.
