Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 30 – Cambodia reported 761 new cases of COVID19, while 166 patients recovered on Friday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 30 April 2021 (updated as of 5:00 p.m).

The newly infected patient is a 29-year-old Cambodian man returning from Malaysia to Cambodia on 29 April 2021.

The other 760 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are from Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Kandal, Kampong Cham, Banteay Meanchey, Kampong Speu, Takeo, Kampong Thom, Prey Veng, Koh Kong, Siem Reap and Tbong Khmum.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 13402 cases of COVID19 with 5152 recoveries and 93 deaths.
