Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 24 – Cambodia reported 511 new cases of COVID19, while 62 patients recovered on Saturday, according to the Ministry of Health's press release dated 24 April 2021 (updated as of 6:00 p.m).

The newly infected patients are a 41-year-old Indonesian man returning from Indonesia through Singapore’s flight to Cambodia on 9 April 2021, and a 32-year-old Cambodian man returning from South Korea.

The other 509 are patients involved in February 20 community event. They are Cambodian, Indonesian, Japanese and Chinese nationals from Banteay Meanchey, Kampong Chnang, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom, Svay Rieng, Takeo, Tbong Khmum, Kandal, Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh.
To date, Cambodia has confirmed 9359 cases of COVID19 with 3210 recoveries and 71 deaths.
