Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 21 – Two Cambodian patients living in Phnom Penh died of COVID19 on 21 April 2021, according to the Ministry of Health's announcement dated Wednesday.

A 54-year-old Cambodian woman was tested positive on 12 April 2021. He passed away at 00:45 on 21 April 2021.

Another 54-year-old Cambodian woman was tested positive on 10 April 2021. She passed away at 10:00 on 21 April 2021.

"Both patients passed away due to severe lung disease and respiratory crisis attacked by COVID19," the ministry confirmed.

To date, Cambodia has registered 56 cases of COVID19 fatality.
